At Pytchley Primary School, we aim to provide a happy, secure and caring atmosphere, where each child can achieve their full potential as well-rounded individuals.

Our school aims to:

• Create a happy and enriching learning environment for children where each child is known and valued in the community and learns to care for and respect themselves, each other and their environment.
• Help children to experience Christian values and how they can apply them in everyday life.
• Promote access to stimulating and enjoyable learning and so enable children to achieve their full potential: socially, emotionally, physically, academically and spiritually in preparation for secondary school and adult life.
• Be an integral part of the village community and its heritage, where staff, children, parents, the parish church and the wider community are welcome and share a common purpose.
• The beliefs and teaching of the Church of England are the foundation of our school’s commitment to prepare each child for the challenges and responsibilities that lie ahead.

Recognising its historic foundation, Pytchley C of E Primary School will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level.

The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.  It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.
