Meet the Governors
The Governing Body is made up of representatives from the teaching staff, non-teaching staff, parents, LA and Church of England. The Governors meet at least once a term to oversee the running of the school and to ensure that the highest possible standards of teaching and learning are being maintained. The Governors are responsible for the maintenance of the premises, health and safety, the pastoral needs of pupils and staff, and the wise stewardship of the school budget. Finance, Development and Premises committees oversee various aspects of the school. Additional committees are convened as required to deal with issues such as admissions, discipline etc. If you are interested in becoming a school governor please speak to the Headteacher who can advise you of any vacancies.
Minutes of Governors’ Meetings are always available from the office upon request.
