Welcome Message from the Headteacher

Pytchley Endowed CE Primary School is part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET)

Hello and welcome to our website which we use to share the many attributes that make our school a special place for our children to enjoy achieving in a positive learning environment.

As a small school we are able to develop a close working relationship both with pupils and parents; all pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential through the support of all members of staff. However, to fully appreciate the family nature and close-knit atmosphere of our school I would strongly recommend arranging a visit during the school day to see our school for yourself. We operate an open door policy where staff can be easily approached before or after the school day and you will be able to experience how our school works if you can come and visit.

Mission Statement

If you cannot attend in person, we hope our new website will help demonstrate our focus on enjoyment of teaching and learning. Our Photo pages will be used extensively to capture the moments when our children are at their best and, over time, we plan to provide a regular update for each year group by using blogs  as our "Class Diaries". These are your way to catch up with how we are working to support your child. We also plan to expand the support offered to parents and carers with useful websites that help you to help your own child at home. Our Parents page already has several groups of useful websites for this purpose.

If you feel that Pytchley Endowed Church of England Primary School could support and develop your child’s learning we would encourage you to arrange a visit to the school at a time convenient to yourself.

I really look forward to meeting you.
